Spring House Farm was purchased in 1976 as a dairy farm by Jean and Ernest Kocher. In 1990 The farm was converted into a riding facility. The property sprawls across 45 picturesque acres with a lit outdoor ring, indoor ring, and 30 stalls. Spring House Farms offers boarding, lessons,  sales and leasing, as well as produces our very own schooling series. We are minutes away from local riding clubs as well as local equestrian recreation sites. We would love to work with you on your equine dreams!

Kate Kocher

Kate, daughter of Jean and Ernest, is the head trainer at Spring House Farm. From a young age she has always had a love of horses. She has competed in multiple disciplines over the years including English, Dressage, Western, and Driving. At the age of ten Kate had her debut at Devon Horse Show. At the age of sixteen, she complete in the Devon Carriage Marathon and took the class with a pony she raised and trained. Kate has also exhibited in the Theater Equus at the World Horse Expo in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. She has fostered and cultivated many young equestrians who have competed at both the local and 4H state levels.
